Hi, Reader!
Thank you so much for joining us for Marketing for Indie Musicians last night. The conversation got so good, and I'm so glad you were part of it!
As promised, here's everything for yah:
๐ Watch the Recording (available for the next 7 days)
๐ Check out the Slidesโ
Here were a few of the big takeaways...
Marketing can be anything that gets you closer to your goals. It's the only lens that I, as a professional, evaluate what constitutes as 'good' and 'bad' marketing.
Don't confuse Direct and Indirect results. They're both important. But they're not the same (don't sleep on the boring stuff!)
Your email list is the most important thing you're probably not doing yet. Start it yesterday. And if you already have one that you've been ignoring, blow the dust off! And if you haven't started it yet, it's never too late. Start today!
You already know how to market. You're already have the core skillz you need as a music professional, sometimes we just need a reframe to get unstuck.
You can check those slides anytime for the big lists of Marketing Avenues, Creative Marketing ideas, Tips & Try-Its and what your marketing might be 'paying' you in, even if you're not sure you're making progress!
โ
โAND (drumroll please...) Bonus #3 is here for you, too!
As a thank you for being in my world, if you'd love a space to keep working on your marketing with other small business owners and expert guidance, I'd love for you to join me in Tiny Biz Club.
Founding member pricing is still available through August 31st! You can learn more & join here, your discount will apply automatically in cart (and it's a steal of a deal on the Club + Sidekick membership!).
It was such a joy to spend the evening with you, Jenny, and Filby. I hope you left feeling a little more excited and with some fresh ideas about your marketing.
And a lot less like you want to claw your eyeballs out posting on Facebook. ๐
With music & great marketing,
Lark
