Hey there Reader!

Something you may not know about me is that I love travel. I landed my first remote job when I was just 21 and I was a digital nomad throughout much of my 20s. I've been to 48 US states, 10 countries, 5 continents. I've road tripped extensively in the US, Canada, Costa Rica, Peru and Morocco. Even my dog has peed in 29 US States and 3 Canadian provinces! 😆

So when Eric came to me to build the website for Destinations & Detours, I was maybe a little too excited about it. Especially when he mentioned they wanted the branding to feel whimsical - another thing that lights me up.

​Destinations & Detours does something I hadn't seen before: they build long-term relationships with their clients across both worlds of travel. The HR person who books work trips for her team? Destinations & Detours is also who she calls when she wants to take her family somewhere unforgettable.

Same person. Different hat. Same trusted partner.

The goal was to build something that felt polished and professional enough for the corporate side, without losing the warmth and joy of travel for the people behind those job titles.

That's a genuinely hard line to walk in a website! And a challenge that I adore.

Eric came to me with a logo and a business plan.

During their Confident Launch Week, we built the full brand and website from scratch. Yep, every page, every word, every detail. In one week. So that Destinations & Detours could launch with confidence instead of cobbling things together as they went.

And afterwards, his review really made my week:
