Letters From Lark
Hey Reader!
My episode of the ADHD Eavesdrop podcast with Janine VanStee just dropped this week, and I'm so excited to finally share it with you!
Janine is a retired special educator with 30+ years of experience and was late-diagnosed with ADHD herself. She shares so many amazing things through her ADHD coaching work and her podcast is a gosh darn delight!
There's a lotta laughs and A LOT of talking with hands.
In our episode, we talked about:
What it was like to be late-diagnosed with ADHD and how I knew it was time to seek professional support for my brain
How I tried approximately everything (including literally learning to hula hoop with a sword balanced on my head) before starting my business
The moment I realized 100% of my clients were neurodivergent, and what I've done with that in the two years since
Why standard business advice tends to backfire for our brains, and what actually works instead
And yep, I even tell the story about why there's a crochet poop on my desk!
If you've ever struggled with thoughts like "what the heck is wrong with me?!", especially around things like work, career direction, starting a business, in a job interview.....I see you, I feeeeel you, and I talk about what might be happening there & how to move through that in this episode.
It's a good one. I had a lot of fun, and Janine is a fantastically kind interviewer!
