Letters From Lark | just gratitude (and pie)

Hey there,

It’s two days before Thanksgiving, but I wanted to do something different: I'm skipping the Black Friday sales rush this year and just taking a moment to say thank you.

This year, I’ve learned so much (in both my business & in my personal life). From clients, collaborators, and fellow small business owners who show up with heart, humor, and honesty - I wouldn't be rolling into the end of the year as the version of me that I am now without you.

A few highlights from the year & things I’m feeling especially grateful for:

❤️ “What’s the transformation everyone you work with experiences?”
That one-liner from Sarah Masci cracked something open for me. It’s now a core part of how I think about my business and the stories I help my clients tell.

❤️ Tiny Talks!!
These quick-hit convos and the community around them have been one of my favorite things this year. The November talks are up on the blog now, and each one is packed with insight, permission slips, and behind-the-scenes wisdom. Big thank you to all who have been a part of it - either as a Tiny Talk-er or as a community member!
(Amanda Bell’s talk is getting posted soon, and oof... “You’re not doing it wrong” is a mantra I’ve been keeping close.)

❤️ From a random TED Talk that immediately etched itself into a permanent spot in my brain: “If you only focus on the end goal, it’s easy to feel powerless.”
That part. We’re all building something piece by piece, and every little step matters.

Getting to see how other solo entrepreneurs navigate the behind-the-scenes creative messiness of DIY marketing? It's been so inspiring, and I'm so grateful to have gotten to know each one of you!

Like Dr. Shawn’s Angry Spaghetti video (an instant classic), and so many others in my corner of the world creating bold, beautiful work that reflects who they really are and what the world needs. I feel inspired every day by the tiny businesses I get to work with.
