I hope that your summer is going swimmingly!
Personally, I was sat down in a river with my dog til about 11pm last night for the full-moonrise, munching on a late dinner of pasta salad, fresas con crema and dividing a bottle of malbec into plastic cups with a group of friends. The moon hid behind the clouds the whole time, but it was still an epic summer adventure!
Summertime makes me extra feral. Having such yummy, totally human experiences is probably part of why I've been thinking about AI so much lately (though, of course, most all of us are these days!)

You may or may not know that I was a *very* early adopter of AI. ChatGPT came out in November 2022, In early 2023, I landed a professional role as a UX Designer working on a tool that used AI to help tiny businesses navigate and stand out against much larger competitors in the world of google ads. Obviously I'm still on my ish about helping tiny businesses stand out with digital marketing!
The ways that I use it in my own business have varied widely. I'm generally a 'gotta try it for myself and make my own mistakes' kind of person. We've also all been seeing and adjusting to the evolution, in real time, of the effects of AI tools and an AI-everything economy.

I like to think that I have a fairly open-minded approach as I've learned from and worked with a roughly equal number of AI-everything and AI-never folks. And wow is it a wiiiiiide spectrum.
I'm excited that as my little team is expanding, we're putting some guidelines in place to use as a guidepost as we continue to have nuanced conversations about it. Some of that is around ethics, and some of it is around just plain effectiveness that we've seen (and not seen) with different AI uses for small businesses.
I could obviously talk about this stuff forever, but what I really want to know is how do you feel about this stuff? There's a one question poll below, but feel free to write me back if you've got more to say!
