Also me: "This is the one. This is the one that will fix me. 2026 here we come!"

Also, also me: gets home and immediately remembers my 14 other water bottles, none of which ever made me drink water before 🙃

Sound familiar? That's what I'm officially calling the Missing Water Bottle Fallacy.

Now let's talk about your 2026 marketing plans.

I see you over there thinking:

"I just need new photos"

"I just need to post on instagram x times per week"

"My website just needs a contact button"

"ChatGPT can just handle the copy, it'll make it super easy!"

"I just need to make money first..."

"I just need to fix this ONE thing"

Buuuuuuuuut hold up.

You said "this one thing will finally make it all work!" about 254 times last year.

And I see you still spiraling instead of getting out there.

Repeat after me.

"I do not need one more tweak, tool, subscription or... waterbottle. I also don't need to wait until it's perfect to launch!"

You need to understand the big picture, figure out what small details actually matter, and make a you-shaped map to where you want to go.
